Specialists recommend an ideal baby room temperature of 19 degrees. A TOG 2 sleeping bag is ideal for a room temperature between 18 and 22°C. Also known as an "all-season sleeping bag", it is perfect for use for around 10 months of the year. With its quilted padding, it guarantees comfort and warmth for baby, without the risk of overheating.
Which sleeping bag for winter?
In winter, a TOG 2 sleeping bag is perfectly suitable if the room temperature is kept at around 18°C minimum, as recommended by pediatricians. This level of TOG offers optimum warmth while remaining breathable, ideal for baby's soft, comfortable nights without being over-covered.
Which maternity sleeping bag?
For the maternity ward, choose a sleeping bag size 0-3 months (55 cm), which will also fit a premature baby if required. Maternity hospitals ask you to bring a TOG 2 sleeping bag, as it is suitable for rooms heated to between 18 and 22°C.
