That's why our baby blankets are bi-material, with one side in Oeko-Tex cotton gauze or GOTS-certified organic cotton, and the other in GOTS-certified 100% organic cotton fleece. All finished with pretty gold or linen piping, depending on the model.

When can I put a blanket on my baby?

Use from 0 to 18 months

Baby plaid can be used from birth, but only if your baby is supervised!

In fact, before the age of 18 months, there's a risk of suffocation when sleeping under a blanket or plaid. At this age, baby doesn't yet have the necessary reflexes to free himself if he finds himself trapped underneath. That's why health professionals recommend using a sleeping bag for unsupervised naps or during the night.

During the day, on the other hand, a pretty baby blanket can become a cocooning ally during walks, playtime or supervised naps, to keep your child nice and warm, as long as you stay by his side to look after him.

After 18 months

The good news is that from 18 months onwards, babies are generally able to free themselves if they find themselves in an uncomfortable position.
