Sharing moments with your child is a real joy. But sometimes we're just not organized enough. We'll be with you every step of the way! We'll tell you everything you need to know about essential accessories, appropriate outfits and tips!
Essential accessories for your outing
When you're out and about with your toddler, there are several essential accessories to have in your diaper bag. For the diaper, take several diapers (3 or 4) and a pack of wipes (industrial or DIY): they always come in handy! You can also take a buttock cream if your child has irritations. Equip your bag with a change of clothes, such as bodysuits or sweaters. You can also take a plastic bag to put dirty clothes separately in the bag, in case of an accident. To be on the safe side, make up a small toiletry kit that stays in the diaper bag. Put saline solution, paracetamol and a thermometer in it: the bare minimum! For mealtimes, take your measuring tins containing the quantity of powdered milk needed for your baby's meal, as well as bibs and bottles. Don't forget the little bottle of fresh water that always comes in handy. And the most essential item of all, never to be forgotten: the pacifier! You can even add a pacifier clip to make sure you don't lose it while out and about.
What outfit should you choose for your baby's outing?
It's important toadapt your baby's clothes to each season. Not too hot, not too cold... We give you our tips! For spring, we recommend dressing your child in a short-sleeved bodysuit, a cardigan or sweater and a jacket. You can remove the lining if the weather is mild. When summer arrives, your child will be comfortable in a short-sleeved bodysuit. It's best to remove both the hood and the lining to let the air through. When autumn arrives, switch to a long-sleeved bodysuit. Add a sweater and a thin coat to make sure your baby doesn't get cold. In fact, it's time to put the lining back in! Now that winter's here, it's time to bundle up! We recommend that you cover the extremities of your child's body: head, hands and feet. Always use a hat, gloves and thick socks or booties. Overlap layers of clothing to keep your child warm: bodysuit, sweater, coat or even cardigan if necessary. Choose an angel's nest in the stroller to keep your baby snug and warm.
The little extras
Pack a few of your child's favorite cuddly toys in his or her bag to help them discover nature. You can take a variety of snacks, such as compotes and cakes. Adapt to the season: take small accessories that may come in handy! A blanket is essential for cooler days. And when the sun comes out, don't forget your sun cream, sunglasses and hat! Now you've got all the tips you need to take your child on the most beautiful outings!
